TuteSpark Week 1

So... first tutorial.

And our TuteSpark questions are....

How do we distinguish between old and new communication technologies? Under what circumstances will new communication technologies become old communication technologies?

It is hard to distinguish the real defining line between old and new technologies. You think about that statement, and you would be like...err....no it isn't.

To me, personally, the old technologies would be things like home phone land lines opposed to mobile phones and then like radio to T.V.

But as awesome as we may think that the Iphone is "the ultimate", in essence it is still doing what the old mobile phone did. It is still doing what my awesome Nokia 3315 did back in the day.

It still texts and calls people. It had awesome games to keep me amused. It still cost me money. So yeah, the same thing as the Iphone just with less features and buttons.

And while we think that we are moving forward, are we really?
Our cars are still on the road. They are still using fossil fuels.

And that, is finally the end of my blogging for the week.

:)

DEAR BLOGGER,

Lecture Summary:

It was the first lecture of Semester 2.
Our lecturers started talking and rather then it being completely boring and falling asleep, they were quite funny.
They were like a weirder, quirkier Hamish and Andy.

I honestly cannot tell you what I learnt because it was all rather confusing.

But this is what I found that I remembered about it all.

What is Communication?

Communication is any process that transfers, transmits or makes information known to other people.

My name is Jessi.

I am doing New Communication Technology and it requires me to make a blog...

So that, is why I am.

Welcome to my blog.
